The Game Over Australian Endurance Championship will conclude its 2026 season at Sandown as part of a new event featuring a stacked support category line-up.
Following the successful Fight in the Night presented by Btuned event, which assembled the largest field so far in the 2026 season, the Sandown Summer Enduro is set to continue this trend due to the exclusivity of racing at the historic circuit located within Melbourne’s metropolitan area.
Set to run on the previously announced December 4-6 date, the Sandown Summer Enduro promises to be the perfect way to decide the 2026 Game Over Australian Endurance Championship.
The Sandown Summer Enduro will add another chapter to the esteemed history of the venue, which previously hosted the pre-Bathurst 1000 endurance race in Supercars, 6 Hour events for Production Cars and World Endurance Championship rounds during the 1980s.
Licensing and permits will be provided by the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA), with the Game Over Australian Endurance Championship headlining the Sandown Summer Enduro alongside seven other categories to be announced in due course.
The event provides a unique opportunity to race at Sandown due to the limited days on its calendar to host national categories and gives potential Victorian competitors the perfect chance to experience the Game Over Australian Endurance Championship.
Close competition and variety have highlighted the Game Over Australian Endurance Championship this season during its first three rounds; the Sandown Summer Enduro decider will be the perfect way to conclude the return of a famed title.
Livestream details will be revealed soon, but the package promises to be improved compared to the one delivered at the Fight in the Night presented by Btuned.
