Grand Prix Motorsport’s Jake Camilleri and Glenn Walker have ended the day on top of the timesheets to open Round 3 of the Game Over Australian Endurance Championship, the traditional Fight in the Night presented by Btuned.
A 1m 15.744s did the job for Camilleri/Walker ahead of the Ginetta G56 V8 shared by Anthony Levitt and Angus Baills, while the Property Investment Store McLaren 570s rounded out the top three with Anthony Soole sharing alongside Grant Denyer.
The fastest two entries experienced problems earlier in the day, Grand Prix Motorsport’s Mercedes-AMG GT endured ABS troubles and the Ginetta ended its opening session in smoke.
ATR Motorsport duo Eric Ebert and Luke Vanna were fourth in their BMW G82 M2, while the Mark Griffith/Tom Hayman AR Nineteen Mercedes-AMG GT rounded out the top five.
Chris Pappas and Zoe Woods were next in the TekworkX Motorsport McLaren 570s from the Team Apex Autowerks Porsche 996 Cup Car, Vast Motorsport BMW F80 M3 and Axis Surveys BMW E92 M3.
Karlie and Paul Buccini rounded out the top 10 in their BMW M135i Hatchback at the end of the final practice session.
Earlier, Round 1 winners Tony Quinn and Matt McCutcheon led the way at the end of the opening session driving the Game Over Toyota GR Supra ahead of the Steve Jukes/Karl Begg BMW F82 M4 and the TekworkX McLaren of Pappas/Woods.
AR Nineteen’s John Nikolovski and Fabian Coulthard set the pace in the second session ahead of Quinn/McCutcheon and teammates Griffith/Hayman.
Qualifying for the 2026 Fight in the Night presented by Btuned is scheduled for 1:00pm AEST Saturday, August 15.
